"Why is the house rolling?"

ABOUT AKANTHOCHIROS ON WHEELS

The childhood dream of wandering does not simply turn into a belated adult whim. Because some core remains untouched, intact, unbroken under the tons of piled-up debris. The child we once were always breathes through discovery, is still nourished by exploration, and is forever fed by the quest. And the new place encompasses not only the geography of the location but also that of the people and the unfamiliar culture, which awaits new initiates.

“A house on wheels” is what we wanted when we were little. And the satisfaction of acquiring it after years of effort is a small vindication. Until all houses have wheels and we no longer exhaust our lives in a few square meters of fixed real estate (and how can it bring joy since it is immobile, while life is movement), the Hedgehog is in a position to offer a few moments of sharing with the whispers of the trees, the murmur of the waters, and an unobstructed view of the starry expanses.

The birthplace is not an imposition; it is a choice.

And to choose a homeland, you must have experienced different places.

“Ubi bene, ibi patria.”

“Where you feel good, there is your homeland.”
